I did 3 types of printmaking
styrofoam I really liked making the styrofoam design. It was very soothing and very easy to make. I noticed that out of all of the otherprinkmaking options styrofoam was the easiest for me to put and create a design to. collagraph I would remake my collagraph printing because I feel like It's too simple and I would like to do a different design to make It a bit more eye catching, but I like how the texture feels It's bumpy and smooth at the same time. I would like to add more neutral colors. Linoleum Linoleum was pretty hard to do. I was scared my design wasn't going to turn out how I wanted It to be, which It kind of didn't but It's better than how I thought It was going to turn out. It also kept on slipping when I tired to do curves on my piece of linoleum. This is my Artwork, and I decided to call it Autumn, As you can see that's what it says on the Leaf in Japanese. The reason I decided to to name my artwork Autumn because my favorite time of the year is Autumn, and also Mother nature also inspired me. Mother's in real life have a baby inside of them, so mother nature is a mother, so there's a baby inside a tree and the the roots are like the mother it's protecting the baby, I think most importantly it was also my mother who inspired me to do this kind of artwork, Because I think mothers are very strong just like trees. I started out by Brainstorming, sketched it out on a bigger paper, After that I started transferring it to the big white paper. My big idea of my artwork is for people to see now big and strong mothers are. Graphite is what I have been using so far for my artwork. One of my goals is to definitely finish my artwork, but my overall thoughts of it is pretty good a bit more effort on it and it will turn out how i want it to be.
I decided to name my art I used for my artwork was some Ink and I blew on It with a straw , and for the colors I used watercolor pencils , I used white out yo outline work “the evening witch” , what Inspired me to name my artwork like that Is that as you can see it's not night yet it’s about to be. I used Ink splat to make a basically splat on the paper and then I blew on it with a straw , after that the shape I saw in my ink splat I saw a witch so I decided to paint a with so do the colors I used watercolor colored pencils and I blended the colors together with a paintbrush and water , and for the hat I used white out to outline It because you couldn't really see the hat until I outlined It. What inspired me first was a dark forest because that's what I first so and then I thought to myself and then I saw a witch so this was supposed to be an evil witch but It seems more like a good one but I like It.
My artwork the “Pyro” Is inspired by circles and a pyramids , the lines are the most obvious objects In my artwork , the main techniques I used to create the figures was tape , charcoal , and water and the rest where Ink , markers , and stencils . I think the big idea of my artwork Is that I think pyramids usually mean something good like achieving something usually being on the top of everything and the circles Is like the circles of life. My goals for this artwork was for It to not be too dark In the middle , I sorta achieved it. This Is just my first piece of artwork and It will definitely help me on the future when I make more artworks I can look back and look at this and see how much I improved over time.
